Who we are?

Okigwe Leaders Forum (OLF) is a forum for men and women who believe they can harness leadership for speedier development of Okigwe zone. It is neither a social club nor a political front. It does not compete with any other social, political, cultural, or developmental organization existing within or outside Imo state. Leaders in all other associations are invited and are free to join the Forum for better development in Okigwe zone and Imo State in general. It has no room for political opportunists and “job seekers”. It is not a plat form for self-advertisement or aggrandizement. It is a THINK-TANK for a better Okigwe zone.

Our Objecives

To create consciousness of oneness and common heritage among the indigenes of Okigwe zone both at home and abroad
To network with people in authority to advance the socio-economic and general welfare of the people of Okigwe zone

One would ask what do we mean by a leader? Is he the most vocal, aggressive, forceful, influential, intimidating and richest amongst men that are members? The answer is none of the above. The leader required in this forum for the development of our zone must:-

Possess a real vision and clear sense of value towards our objective.
Without losing focus, be innovative and an apostle of positive change
